Kasese district is connected to the national power grid and has two hydro electricity power dams located at Mubuku II for Kilembe Mines and Mubuku III for Kasese Cobalt Company.
The district is connected with electricity in most prominent trading centres and towns like in Katwe, Bwera and Hima. It has an excellent road infrastructure with tarmac roads linking it to Kabarole and Bushenyi districts and murram roads linking the urban areas to the rural areas.

Kasese district is also linked by the railway and it marks the end of the Western railway line. It has an airstrip which facilitates quick access to the rest of the country. Hence the district can be accessed by water, road, rail and air transport.

Kasese district is also connected to the national telecommunications infrastructure and enjoys the services of uganda telecom (Mango), MTN, and Celtel. It also has rural and commercial banking facilities including credit and savings schemes and cooperative societies
